Museum Gardens in York is a beautiful and tranquil green space perfect for a relaxing walk, a picnic, or simply enjoying nature. The gardens are home to stunning historical ruins, including the remains of St. Mary’s Abbey, which add a unique charm to the setting. The park is well-maintained and features a variety of plants and trees, making it a great spot to visit in any season. It’s also a popular place for locals and tourists to unwind, with plenty of benches and open spaces to sit and take in the scenery. Museum Gardens of York is an absolute gem, specially on a sunny day. It's a place full of history as they have around the premises the Museum of York and the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey.

While relaxing and exploring york with my girlfriend, she had become quite overwhelmed with how busy it was. so we decided to visit the museum gardens to relax in a bit of nature and enjoy the plants and a bit of history that is dotted around the gardens. seeing a few exhibitions that where set up with storys behind wire sculptures was nice as it diddnt affect the natural beauty of the place. would absolutely go again and even have a picnic in the gardens or visit one of the local cafes to spend more time there.

I went to watch Moonstruck at Museum Garden Cinema organised by Shamin. It was for women only. It was brilliant, it took me back to 70's and 80's when used to go there. I was amazed how well looked after the cinema was. Need more events like this. Well done Shamin.
